that's what we are. What better way to spend a rainy afternoon in Sunny, FL than to meet friends for some wonderful conversation and yummy food. The only thing that makes it better than normal is when the friends are in from out-of-town and you haven't seen each other in almost 5 years!
Ms. Holly and I met shortly after I got engaged and moved to Central Illinois. We had lots of wonderful times together during the 2+ years that we lived close to each other. And despite a couple of moves and some other hardships, our friendship has remained.
When we were neighbors, her girls were around the same age as my girls are now. I even remember going to the hospital right after her youngest was born.
How wonderful it was to see those precious little angels all grown up into beautiful young ladies.
They are both a credit to their momma!
Let's try not to let another 5 years pass before we get together again!
Travel safe lovely ladies.

Your post made me so excited! My best friend and her husband are coming to visit in August, and I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM!
As far as the Manchego cheese you mentioned, we LOVE it! We ate our weight in Manchego in the Dominican Republic! It was out during every meal! So glad you had fun with your friend!
OH I love to lunch!! and I love date nights too
