I was still in labor, wondering when Baby Chili Pepper would make her grand entrance. Because of the hypnobirth training, I was heavily into my hypnotic state and remember very little about this day. From what my family tells me, I was on my feet walking almost the entire time, unless the doctor or nurses needed to monitor the progress. My incredible hypnobirth instructor spent endless hours talking, massaging, and helping me remain as pain-free as possible.
Here is the only known photo that I have from this day...
I do remember telling myself that all of my hard work would pay off soon...when my beautiful baby girl would be in my arms at last.
Come back tomorrow to hear the end of this story...
~~~
And speaking of that precious baby girl...Miss Bryleigh Eden is officially walking! One day before her first birthday, she can now take upwards of 5 - 6 steps before she sits down!
Noah is 18
Hynolabor?? Ok, I am so completely and totally impressed with you.
I would like to know how to hypno-excercise or hyno-clean-house.
I'm glad you like my totes but I think you skipped the post before that! There is something for you on there!
I love that you hypnobirthed. My neighbor (who is in his mid-40s now) was delivered while his mom was under hypnosis. And that wasn't even "in" back then! She said she didn't feel a thing. I think it's cool that you did this! I'd love to hear more about it some day, if you feel like writing a post just about that (how did you learn, who taught you, when did you "wake up", etc.).
Yay for Bryleigh!
Awww, this is so lovely.
I love that you're telling this story in parts. I can't wait for the next one!
Hmmm....methinks I may have to check out that hypnobirthing in the future.
Happy birthday to your little girl!
Hypnobirth--hmm, never heard of it. I might look into it.
